The Saint Andrew

Large Hardy salmon fly reel, model "The Saint Andrew" the largest model in the Lightweight series. Diameter 10.6 cm, width 4 cm, matte gray, left-hand crank handle, with adjustable tension regulator, noisemaker pawl, removable openwork spool, for 10 or 11 line with 250 or 200 m of 30 lb backing. Grooved aluminium foot. Ideal for salmon fishing with a 14, 15 or 16-foot two-handed rod in large rivers such as the Gave d'Oloron, Spey, Tweed, etc. In very good condition (paint slightly chipped in places) in its soft Hardy zippered case. Like all reels in the Lightweight series, the Saint Andrew can easily be converted to a right-hand crank. The Saint Andrew is the lightest of the large-capacity salmon fly reels and is therefore much sought-after by anglers.
