Pezon & Michel. Superb light/ultra-light casting rod in split bamboo: model Télébolic BB2 for casting from 3 to 7 g, length 1.83 m, N°1895715 (year of manufacture 1957). In two sections of unequal lengths, nickel silver suction ferrule, all Chromex rings, cork handle with aluminium sliding rings, rubber knob. Télébolic" casting rods were created immediately after the war by Charles Ritz, modelled on the Parabolic PPP fly rods. Selection of the best woods, meticulous finishing, unequal rod lengths (like PPPs) to obtain a powerful, "nervous" action for precision casting. It was with these rods that Charles Ritz, then Pierre Creusevaut, were world casting champions in "precision weight" events until the mid-sixties. The rod presented here is in very good condition in its original canvas sheath, stiffened by a stake. Creusevaut Collection.
