The Hololite

Hardys: Beautiful one-handed trout fly rod in split bamboo, model "The Hololite" 8 p6 in three sections, two tips, for 4/5 silk. Lightweight honeycomb bamboo butt, suction ferrules, agate leader and tip rings, non-serpentine body rings (Bridges), single reel seat. N°H25356 (year of manufacture 1969), as new in its canvas sheath Hardy. Hololite rods ("Light & hollow rods", at least for the butt) are, in our opinion, among the best rods on Hardy, or at least the lightest, given their power. The three-piece models, as shown here, can be carried in a suitcase and do not require a carry tube, as do the two-piece models. Yves Rameaux Collection
