Brand new glass entomological box (26x33x6cm) containing twelve splendid male Morpho aega. Males have almost uniformly iridescent metallic blue uppersides, except for a narrow black border, with one or two small white spots.
The underside is a mottled beige-brown with a few inconspicuous eye-spots. This Morpho species is only found in Brazil, Paraguay and Guyana. The specimens shown are from Brazil. The column on the right shows four rare Morpho thamyris, one male and three females with less luminescent blue wings bordered by a brown band with white spots. This species of Morpho is only found in Brazil and Paraguay.
The box is new and the sixteen butterflies in perfect condition (not a single antenna missing).
