Brand-new glass entomological box (26x33x6 cm) containing twenty lepidopterans (butterflies) of the Delias genus (Pieridae family), all of different, well-identified species. The Pieridae (or Piéridés) is a family of diurnal lepidopterans, comprising over a thousand species worldwide. There are around 50 species living in Europe and 25 in mainland France, including the famous cabbage white, one of the most widespread butterflies in our country. While most European Piéridés are white or yellow, we present here twenty Piéridés from Indonesia, all quite brilliantly colored. Most have well-ribbed wings with orange or red tinges at the tips.
Originating from Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi or the famous islands whose names alone make you dream, we have here a perfect example of the biodiversity of the same genus.
The box is brand new and the butterflies are all in perfect condition.
