Very nice old (1880/1900) very large Scottish salmon fly reel, PD Malloch Makers Perth. Made of copper (brass faced), spool back in "Hard rubber" (ancestor of bakelite), spool flanges in "German silver" (alloy of silver and nickel), crank handle in ivory. Brass foot and four spacers, noisemaker pawl. Diameter 12 cm, width 5.5 cm. In very good working order and splendid condition. For the discerning collector, presented in a suede pouch. 580
